I have black ants in a wall in my basement, and I sprinkled Max Force Complete where they come out. It's still there, and I put some right in front of 2 ants - they walked through it and paid no attention. Do ants prefer different food sources depending on the time of year? I want these ants gone! Thank you for your help. Do the sound plug ins work, I have several plugged in? I thought maybe they aren't working, because ants certainly won't leave in below zero temperatures - correct?
Maxforce Complete Granular Bait can be used anytime of the year, however ants are very fickle. It may be that they are just not foraging right now. Please review our Ant Identification Guide for information on how to identify the specific any species you have. Using a residual spray both inside the home as well as the exterior foundation of the home would also be a good addition to an Ant Treatment Program.
