Does my family need to leave the home during a spider treatment?

Answer:

Almost every insecticide on the market requires that everyone except the person applying the product vacate the area during the application. It is usally safe to return as soon as the insecticide has dried which can take about an hour with most water based insecticides. Foggers and other fumigants may require you to stay out of the treated area for longer periods of time. If in doubt, read the product label.
