Does Prime Source Propiconazole 14.3 Select Fungicide work for pythium blight?
Answer:
Prime Source Propiconazole 14.3 Select Fungicide is not labeled for pythium blight. You can use Subdue Maxx or Prime Source Regulate instead. Â
Here are a few tips for getting rid of Pythium Blight:
- Avoid mowing wet, infected turf where mycelium is present to avoid spreading spores with the mower blades
- Reduce thatch and improve drainage with core aeration.
- Increase air circulation and reduce the amount of shade which will limit the amount of time of foliar
- Non frequent deep watering is better verses frequent shallow watering
- Do not water at night.
