Does Protecta RTU bait work in freezing temperatures?

Also, for how long is it effective? also, can mice carry it back to their nesting places (like beds and boots) as we've had them do with Decon pellets?

Answer:

Protecta RTU is actually a bait station. The Rodenticide bait you would use in the bait station is sold seperate. Since, human grade food scents are used in most baits, if it were to freeze and then defrost it could sour more quickly. Also, normally the rats will gnaw on the bait and feed and then leave.
