The grasses I want to protect include bluestems, Indian grass and Panicum species. Does Sedgehammer kill or inhibit them? Does it affect flowering plants like Liatrus (Kansas Gayflower)? Thank you.
Sedgehammer is labeled to kill nutsedge without injury to listed established turfgrasses. You should not apply over-the-top of desirable ornamentals, shrubs, and/or trees. We are not sure how the product would effect prairie so we recommend calling the manufacturer who is the expert on their own product.
