You don't say much about treating furniture, dressers and other furniture where they hide and breed. I've treated with other products including every crack, hole, air space, etc in this miserable rental I just can't seem to get completely rid of them and don't know what I'm doing wrong. Tried a professional exterminator without success. Successfully stopped them for a brief time, but they are back within a couple days. I have shag carpeting and been treating the carpet also. I've learned that bed bugs quickly take over homes, whatever rooms people are in. Is this true?
Bed Bug Kit #3 is to treat 2 to 4 bedrooms(only) but not a 2 to 4 bedroom house/unit - although the solution can possibly cover all that when spraying baseboards, cracks and crevices. In our guide we do show areas that need to be treated, like in our inspection guide. You are correct about the possibility of them spreading though out the house since they travel in objects, clothing, and shoes. You can air out the room by opening the bedroom doors and possibly the windows if the temperatures allow it. This will allow the room to air out and sprayed areas to dry. Bed Bugs require a combination of products along with repeat treatments every 7 days until no bed bugs or bites have been observed for 30 days. This means that if you’ve gone 24 days without seeing any signs but then see bed bug activity, start the treatment process over again. Please view the step by step instructions in our Bed Bug Treatment Guide for a successful treatment program.
