To optimize performance, mow the turfgrass two to three days before applying Pennington Pro Care Fertilizer 15-0-5 .03 Lockup. If the turfgrass is under moisture stress, a thorough sprinkler irrigation of at least 1/2 inch may be needed at least one to two days before application. 
 
For optimal results, apply this product in the morning when dew is present. If necessary, sprinkler irrigate with less than 1/4 inch of water just before application to maximize particle adherence to leaf surfaces. Avoid watering the treated area within 24 hours of application. Avoid making applications if rainfall is expected for 24 hours following treatment.
