John from Aurora Co writes

Does the steamer have to come in contact with the bedbugs? How does that work if they only come out at night?

Answer:

Steam must come into direct contact with bedbugs to kill them. You need to steam the most likely hiding spots instead of waiting for them to come out. Steam all of the ticking, seams and folds of furniture. Steam all of the cracks and crevices on furniture. Steam any other place you suspect the bedbugs may be hiding.
