Does this kill pollinators?

Our nursery has a problem with insects on azaleas. Is it possible to use this product as a root drench and not kill the pollinator insects? How many months before bloom would be safe to apply?

Answer:

Per the product label for ImidaPro 4SC:

"As with any insecticide, care must be taken to minimize exposure of ImidaPro 4SC to honey bees and other pollinators. use of ImidaPro 4SC on crops requiring bee pollination must be avoided during bloom and a minimum of 10 days prior to bloom."

So you could apply this product after petal fall, or a minimum of 10 days prior to bloom.
