Fertilome Brush Killer and Stump Killer will not affect nearby plants or move through the soil if it is applied directly to cut stumps. If you are applying the product as a spray, then you should be careful to avoid spraying or overspraying onto desirable ornamental plants such as shrubs or trees, or their root systems.
