The Chapin one gallon sprayer will give an actual broad mist when the nozzle is in that position. However, please note that no spray should ever be used as a broadcast spray on ceilings and walls or over your head for safety reasons, and Demon is specifically designed for baseboard and crack and crevice treatments only. You not only would be using the product against the label instructions, but you risk having the spray come back on yourself or other areas of the room that you wouldn't want the product to be on. A better application for roaches in high areas would be a bait gel.
