Emerald ash borer
By Conrad in Lancaster on 06/10/2015
I bough this product to treat my ash trees but no instruction how to treat ash trees for emerald ash bores.
Expert response:
For systemic treatment, apply Dominion 2L as soil drench at a rate of 0.1 - 0.2 ounces per inch of trunk diameter. Apply uniformly as a drench around the base of the tree in not less than 10 gallons of water per 1000 square feet. Direct application to the root area. Remove plastic or any other barrier that will stop solution from reaching the root zone. You should also contact your local Cooperative Extension office to see what active ingredient is most successful for treating this pest in your area.
