Works!
By Jay on 11/06/2013
Dusted area of infestation in a log cabin. Put dust in between the logs and checks. Kills almost instantly. Ants came pouring out and died. Continued coming out and dying for a day or so. Am going to use a ground solution and gel to be sure under the cabin in the crawl space to be sure eradicated.

so far so good
By Brad on 03/16/2015
The Carpenter bees started coming out this weekend and in preparation I had dusted the holes a few weeks ago. What a difference! I noticed dead bees all over as the dust was more than they could handle. I am impressed so far. We'll see how this keeps up.

Drione Dust and Carpenter Bees
By John on 06/12/2015
I have a cedar log home. The carpenter bees were destroying it. One application of Drione with a bellows duster into the holes got rid of all the flying bees. Will most likely have to apply again when the eggs hatch and grow into bees. This works very fast.

Worked Great
By Tom on 08/18/2015
Yellowjackets had burrowed a nest next to a bush, and some research suggested Drione Dust was the best remedy. Being fearful of the wasps, I used an old turkey baster to blow the dust down into the nest hole at dawn, then ran away. Within a few hours, no more activity. Expensive stuff, but worth it.

Excellent Solution for siding.
By Robert on 09/04/2015
I had Yellow Jackets nesting underneath my vinyl siding. I bought the wasp/hornet spray which does kill them on contact, but only the ones around the entry point for a day or two. Because I could not see exactly where, or how large the nest was I did some research and learned about Drione Dust. I was able to apply the dust (with a below hand duster) into the opening where they where entering and exiting through, as well as between the overlap of the siding segments. The following week some additional wasps were hanging around, so I reapplied the dust again and haven't seen any others. Once It seemed that they were gone, I sealed the openings.

Drione Dust
By Jim on 09/13/2015
Used this to get rid of some hornet nests inside walls. Applied it using a Bellow Duster late in the evening and next day no more hornets. There's enough product for 50+ applications. Definitely worth it since it will cost you a couple hundred for a professional.

Very pleased
By Dave on 05/10/2016
The carpenter bees were returning for another run at the house this year, and I puffed some of this into their existing holes. The bees came out and died. That's what I was looking for. I went and puffed a bit more in a week later and nothing. Haven't seen any around the house. This Fall, I'll fill the holes, and hopefully that will be that. Worth every penny.

Worked!
By Pearl on 09/03/2016
I had carpenter ants in a constant parade walking past the concrete foundation of my front landing and then climbing their way into a slight gap between the concrete and the wood siding on my house. I sprayed/scattered Drione Dust on their path way and they were gone!

Yellow Jackets
By Jim on 11/07/2016
Received your product (Drione Dust) and used it that evening. I couldn't believe there were no Yellow Jackets the next morning. In short the product worked great. As for the Bulb Duster, I was glad I spent the money to use it with the dust.

Drione Dust
By John on 10/06/2017
After my wife was stung by one of the ground nesting yellow jackets, I'd had enough. We had tried foam wasp spray previously, but some were back within a couple of days. After receiving the Drione Dust, with my wife at the bulb duster, she insisted, we have not had a problem. Weeks later and still no more. It's expensive, but it works, which is the important part!

Carpenter Ant Solution
By Jonathan on 05/03/2018
Had a carpenter ant problem in the kitchen. Applied this dust to where I saw them coming in various trails and stopped it very quickly. Had previously tried an outside perimeter solution, but that did not work. Since it is very difficult to find the nests, dusts are the best solution as the worker ants take it back to the nest for a complete kill.

An Excellent Product That Works... FAST
By Tracie on 08/27/2020
While painting our 2-story house, my husband found out the hard way that there were two active hornet nests in different locations under the soffit with no way of reaching the nests. So, on a 28' ladder armed with a can of spray he tried to fend them off but the spray did nothing other than to piss off the already really mad hornets. I started researching different pesticide applications that would take care of the problem and realized that living in New York State many highly rated products were not available to me. I finally found Drione Dust and ordered a bottle along with a long shot puffer sprayer. Honestly, the 14" sprayer didn't look all that long when faced with climbing a 28' ladder to annihilate a herd of hornets and my husband straight up accused me of buying the shortest wand, LOL! My husband applied the dust per application instructions and within 2-3 days, no more hornets. He has also used it on a few ground bee nests with excellent results. An outstanding product that works and is cost effective. The only drawback is that it's not waterproof but since I am limited as to what I can use in NY, I'm giving it 5 stars. An excellent product that I will continue to use.

Drione Dust
By David on 09/11/2020
I had two wasp nests within my house walls . I tried several insecticide sprays but just couldn't reach the nests. I heard about Drione Dust after two light applications using the puffer application tool, no more wasps! I would highly recommend this product. It really did the job well.

Excellent Product!!
By Tim on 09/25/2020
I just ordered the 2nd pound of Drione. The first lasted many years and also came from DoMyOwn. I've used it for hornets, wasps, ground bees, ants and wood bees. It's easy to apply, doesn't smell or stain like liquid sprays, can be used inside in crevices etc. When I first ordered I bought the Centro Bulb puffer with extension wand, the same products the Du-Right guy who first treated our house used. As a consumer or pro I highly recommend.

Yellow Jacket swarm GONE!
By Cynthia on 12/30/2022
Product worked as as expected and better than I really thought it would on Yellow Jacket infestation underground. After 2 treatments and 4 days I have only seen 3 after reving car engi e to shake ground. One more treatment on a date with cooler weather and no rain planned. I M satisfied and pleased with performance of product. The only negative is due to product like powdered sugar it does clog up applicator metal tube. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Drione works
By Richard on 08/12/2010
Recently a contractor working on my fence discovered a very large infestation of carpenter ants in some old lumber in my back yard. He told me about Drione Dust and I immediately went on line and found your site and ordered 1 lb. The shipment arrived promptly and within 3 days the carpenter ants were gone. It is very nice to have such an effective product that will not harm the birds and other animals that typically inhabit backyards.

I have used this product several times for bees that have made massive nests in the attic of my home. One dusting and they are gone gone gone! Even though it is expensive, the cost of the product pales in comparison the damage that the bees have done to my home.

Drione Dust does it to the Carpenter Bees
By Bill on 05/24/2011
I own a red cedar log home that was 10 years old when I purchased it. The previous owners let carpenter bees get out of control. Every spring, they descended on the house in a cloud and got worse every year. I began using Drione Dust applied with a bellow hand duster straight into the holes leading to their nests. The results are effective and almost immediate. Within 15 minutes, bees are dropping out of their holes onto the ground. With regular use, the problem has been reduced from epidemic proportions to a minor nuisance. I like Drione Dust because it is easy to use, fast acting and largely non-toxic to nearly everyone but the bugs.
