Good strong herbicide for Crabgrass elimination. It does take 5 to 7 dats to see the effect of green blades turning brown. Good choice for Crabgrass elimination.

Didnt realize how much crabgrass I really had in the yard until 3 days later when it was all brown! Worked quick and was exactly what I needed.

This was the only product that killed all of the weeds which had taken over our yard. It does leave yellow spots as it states, but that's fine. Till your lawn or add more dirt and seed and all will be fine. All of the weeds were dead with two days at the latest.

This stuff was incredible. Our yard became 95% crabgrass. Even the mature crabgrass died within less than 7 days of application. Our yard went from icky weeds to dried up dead crabgrass that we cut super low leaving almost all dust and dirt exposed. We then aerated and seeded using all DMO products. Our yard is so lush and green - it is turf quality. We love it. We do have some winter weeds that just popped up and took over so we are using tenacity this weekend. I heard it works great. So excited for how our yard will look in the spring. Going for best yard in the neighborhood!

I can't really rate this product by itself. The reason being is that I used this product in combination with Tenacity and Bonide brush killer to nuke my yard this fall as a post emergent treatment. The reason I chose this product in my mix was because it covered the Quinclorac category. Which from previous attempts did a great job killing any of the crawling kind of weeds. But, It didn't do much for clovers or flowery type weeds (which it might not be targeted towards, that is why I added the other two). But with the trio I use I can say that all the weed are dead in my yard, and the remaining grass is still healthy and ready to reclaim the lawn.

it really worked with my crab grass and torpedo grass the hoa sprayed it twice with their weak killer and just a few yellow leaves and i sprayed with 1 gallon container (3 refills) and yellowed all of the 3,000 feet of grass with one application it looks as though i never had it just today i got from them prodiamine 65 generic barricade to put down on my bermuda in florida at appropriate time great company and excellent people who answers questions with full knowledge of their products

I have not used any of this shipment, however, I did use it earlier this season. I have had a chronic issue with crabgrass for years. I have sprayed for it twice this year. I did not get pre-emergence down this year. I have virtually no crabgrass this year so far.

I would buy this over and over again. I had a major issue with torpedo & crabgrass, after the first treatment 90% of my weed is gone. I may have to do another spot treatment for the remaining weed.

After spending a lot of time and money on other products from local home improvement stores and having very poor results, it was really great to finally find something that works as advertised. Drive XLR8 really did the job on our stubborn crabgrass, even late in the season when it is hard to kill. I sprayed it on per the instructions and by about 4 days later, the crabgrass was as dead as dead can be. Great product, I highly recommend it. Make sure you also buy the recommended additive to make it 'wet' the crabgrass and allow the poison to work effectively.

Wow!! I recently purchased a house and have been slowly reclaiming the yard from the wild. I used Scott's weed and feed to get rid of most of the misc. weeds and clover, only to have crabgrass start creeping in all summer long till almost half the yard had become infested with it. Planning for the future, I decided to plant some Zoysia plugs but wanted to make sure that the crabgrass wouldn't hinder their growth. So I asked a rep at DoMyOwn for their recommendation on a post-emergent crabgrass killer that I could apply now that wouldn't hurt my new plugs and this was it. Read all the directions, followed them to a 't' and a few days later almost all of the crabgrass is dead. (Approx. 90%) All of the good fescue, new Zoysia etc... are doing great. Can't believe how easy it was. Thank you for the expert advice DoMyOwn! :)

I read the label closer and saw that it will probably kill Centipede. Mainly use MSMA for maintenance..what are other people's experience with this product on centipedede. Trying to take out nutgrass, crabgrass and "wild" bermuda

Killed the crabgrass within days. Just be warned that if it's a thick batch it'll take a little bit to get the grass to grow back. Still have brown spot in the yard but my Bermuda is working it's way back through

Does the job. 3-5 days weeds showed signs of dying. My cool season turf unharmed. The only drawback is, weeks later treated crabgrass shows brown patches in lawn. Will definitely need to treat with pre emergent next Spring. Plan on aeration over-seeding to thicken lawn.

This stuff really does an amazing job killing mature crabgrass in less than a week. Also does a really good job in killing dandelions and clover. Make sure to read all directions on bottle though in order to have great results.

This kit worked exactly as advertised. Crabgrass was killing my lawn, and no matter what I used, the crabgrass kept growing. Then I called DoMyOwn and spoke to an agent. She told me just how good this was on post-emergent crabgrass. I followed the instructions and within 24 to 30 hours, I saw results. The crabgrass was turning yellow and eventually brown. It was dead. The more important thing was that it did not kill the grass, which is coming back. I used a 2-gallon pump sprayer which made it very easy to apply. Also, the blue indicator dye lets you see where you are spraying so that you don't over-lap (please wear rubber gloves when mixing in the blue dye. It can take a while to wash it off your hands, I know.) I have recommended this product to some family, friends, and neighbors who are having the same problem. This is a great product!

I had high hopes for this stuff, just as I have had with previous expensive herbicides I've tried. First the good. My crabgrass is turning brown and I assume it will eventually die, although it's too early to say for certain. Another application may be necessary. The bad is that it has had zero effect on any other weeds in my yard. Both wild violet and ground ivy are thriving after treatment, which is unfortunate. I have spent hundreds of dollars on herbicides and followed the directions precisely. I have consistently been let down by these more expensive products that don't live up to their expectations. In my personal opinion, a cheap bottle if 2 4 D is the most cost effective solution for weed control that I have found thus far, but I will continue my quest. I do think I am done with the upper end products. They seem to be better at killing my wallet more than weeds.

Within 24 hours of application I was already seeing yellowing and within 5 days the crabgrass was brown and dead. This stuff works perfect.

As promised, killed crab grass and clover with one treatment! Would recommend over other brands, easy to follow instructions and to apply. So noticeable neighbors requested!

This summer I applied several different products to kill the Goose Grass in my lawn but nothing worked. My neighbor gave me some of this herbicide and it worked like a charm. I am so very impressed and will definitely use it earlier next year.

I was searching for a product that would help me take back control over my lawn from crabgrass. After neglecting my yard earlier in the year due to an excessive amount of rain and flooding, by late August my lawn was inundated with crabgrass. I ordered the kit and first followed the directions and mixed a 4 gallon amount in a backpack sprayer. I spot sprayed that amount around the perimeter of the house and waited about 5 days. The crabgrass was noticeably doing in 3-5 days. Once satisfied that the chemical had not harmed my Tall Fescue, I mixed a 20 gallon amount in a tow-behind pump operated aerator sprayer and covered about 2/3 of an acre. This product did exactly what it said it would. Kills crabgrass and doesn't harm Tall Fescue. Truly a satisfied customer.

Bought this mainly for torpedo grass but what it did to the crabgrass was amazing. No yellowing or browning of lawn and within 3 days the crabgrass was dead or dying. It also took out most of the torpedo grass but required a second application. I tried it on spurge which it is not listed for and it took that out also. I highly recommend using the bluing agent so you can see what you have done.

Literally did not kill a single weed. I have used 1/2 a bottle, following directions every time (in addition to various YT videos) and not a single weed has died. Bermuda grass in Texas.

We have used this product previously and was completely satisfied with how it has taken care of the crab grass we have in the northern state, it is especially effective in the spring before the seeds have a chance to germinate. We also use it to spot kill when we get crab grass in August.

I followed the directions to a T...nothing happened. I waited a month, thinking I'll give it another try, maybe I did something wrong. Second application, the same result...Bermuda Grass in Georgia.

I tried to find a herbicide specifically designed to kill at Augustine in Bermuda. I couldn't find anything with that specific purpose. Turns out it's a happy side effect of using Drive XLR8.
