Our 2 year old lawn from a new home construction became infested with White Dutch Clover. It spread fast in many areas of the lawn. I used 2-4-D and that got most of the weeds but only slightly burned the clover. I spray regularly for weeds but couldn't get rid of the clover. These was an amazing kit. I have never used the dye or surfactant before so I was hesitant about it at first. When applying the dye I started very light and needed to use a little more. I was worried about the new driveway as I had light overspray. As it says through the dye fades away in 24-48hrs zero issues. Tractor tires do have a light tint though as I used a pull behind sprayer. The first few days looked like it was working and then continued to see improvements week after week. I am assuming this is the Surfactant shielding the Herbicide and letting it do it's job after rain and sprinklers. To this day about 3 weeks after spraying we feel it's still working as intended. We have an open field full of weeds to the North of us ready for development and another side a bare lawn with patches of weeds. This has been the best product to use in conjunction with 2-4-D on our lawn.

I had a lot of crabgrass and the kit worked great. The Surfactant helped bind the XLR8 to the plants, the indicator dye really helped me insure that all the crabgrass plants received treatment, and the XLR8 did a great job of killing the crabgrass without harming the regular grass. I would definitely buy this product again and have recommended it to some of my neighbors.

Been purchasing all lawn and insect chemicals from domyown for past three years-commercial grade effective products that groundskeepers and exterminators use and unavailable at local big box or garden centers, Great. prices, fast sometimes free shipping, easy online ordering, able. to view product label and application instructions. Applied Drive as directed with surfactant using Chapin battery backpack sprayer Used primarily for mature crabgrass that escaped pre-emergent treatment in spring, especially along edge of driveway and sidewalk and also for several. spots of white clover and black medic Within 2 days noticed crabgrass turning yellow eventually reddish brown It's been 2 weeks, little if any crabgrass, clover and black medic total kill, no harm to lawn Compared to products found in. big box stores is considerably more effective higher concentration and more economical. Drive 18.92% Quinclorac @ high app rate of 1.5 oz/gal=$1.49/1000 sq ft Weed-b-gon with crabgrass control only 2.13%. Quinclorac @ app rate of 4 oz/gal=$1.68/1000 sq ft, used this last year with very poor results Highly recommend Drive!

Used the XLR8 on 3 acres of grass. It was being taken over by crabgrass and Japanese clover. We thought we were going to have to kill it all and reseed all 3 acres. The XLR8 did its job and now we are just over seeding the existing grass.

Use minimum mix rate

Immediately fried my crabgrass along with a few other miscellaneous weeds with one application in July. Slightly, and I mean Slightly, discolored the bermudagrass which bounced back in a week. Don't apply in super hot weather unless you're watering regularly or you will fry your bermuda. Best crabgrass killer on the market in my opinion. Good luck!!

This product was compared with another product I have for crab grass on two different sides of my yard, after the first application of both products 29 days later you could see the drive XLR8 side didn't need a 2nd application but the other side of the yard needed a 2nd dose.

Best ever post crabgrass control

This is the best post-emergence crabgrass and nutsedge compound I have ever used. It might take a couple of applications to completely eliminate but with one of DoMyOwn's good pre-emergence materials applied in the fall, this is truly a (grass/sedge) killer of a program.

XLR8 is not my go to for killing crabgrass. I was using Tenacity which also works well but turns the crabgrass white and takes a while to kill them off. The white doesn't look great in the yard. XLR8 works faster and turns the crabgrass a dark green/brownish color that doesn't stand out badly, but they die off quickly and just go away and isn't noticeable like when using Tenacity. I have cool season grasses and it didn't harm them at all. This is my new go-to.

I missed "pre-emergent" application window due to travels. Once the crabgrass started to sprout I ordered 1 gallon for my 2 acres of lawn along with some duo stick surfactant. Following the directions using a boom sprayer with my lawn tractor I applied on a Saturday. By Monday I could see the crabgrass was definitely hurting. By Wednesday the crabgrass was drastically brown. I'm estimating 95% crabgrass kill and most was with at least 4, if not 5 tillers of growth. As a bonus the infestation of white clover is showing stress but is slower to assure it's been eradicated. As needed this will be a go to purchase item.

When I was researching products for my crabgrass infestation I read reviews here saying that this product was not any good. I’m here to say they’re wrong. Applied according to the directions, you could see it start working within 2 days. I’d buy this again. It’s fantastic.

Used Drive with Endrun and surfactant and the crab grass along with most of the other weeds are dead within day. What didn't die I either missed or is looking really bad. .. Now three weeks later; most of the weeds are dead and a minute amount of crab grass revived slightly, but still looks like it will die soon. May have been due to not enough product being applied. I used a lawn tractor with a tow behind sprayer, mixed as directed for amount of product per acre with 12 gallons of water. Sprayed more then an acre so I may have stretched it a little. Will use again if the anti emergent doesn't work this spring.

Saw this product online and watched the video. Yard covered in crabgrass but now crabgrass dead and grass still good. Yard looks horrible because all crabgrass is dead (brown ) but product is awesome. Will probably have to buy more for back yard and to respray some areas that had more mature crabgrass. You won't be disappointed I know I am impressed with this product.

I have tried all of the stuff from lowes and Home Depot and nothing killed the grab grass while it was growing. Drive xlr8 killed it all to the root in one application. Took about 7 days. I mixed it 75/25 with a surfactant and set the sprayer to 2oz per gallon. Used a gallon to do an acre. Kind of high priced but better then wasting your money on other products.

I have 2 1/2 acres and lots of crabgrass. Drive XLR8 Herbicide Crabgrass Killer has been the best I have used to kill the crabgrass and other weeds in my yard. I am spot spraying where some did not die when I used my tank sprayer. I hope to have all the crabgrass gone using Drive XLR8.
