At the moment we dont have any videos on how to set the Duke Traps. There is a lever near the front of the door that you allow the front door to set on when you lift it to the open position. The bar that is there is connected to the pedal at the back of the trap. You will place the bait in the back of the trap behind the pedal to ensure the animal gets all the way in and on the pedal to set it off. It should be fairly easy to set once you get it in your hands, however you may be able to find a how-to video online from others that have purchased it or live animal trappers reviewing the product.

The Duke Traps Heavy Duty Raccoon and Armadillo Trap (1112) is great for feral cats, raccoons and armadillos. We would suggest the Tomahawk 608 trap that is standard for most effective, durable, and long lasting trapping needs for this size animal. Havahart traps like the 1089 or 1079 are also a good choice. The Tomahawk traps will be more so rigid traps, whereas the Havahart is collapsible if you need that functionality for storage when not in use. Something you will also want to consider is how easy of a release you may want or need for the animal. A model like the Tomahawk 608 is similar to the 108, but has an easy release door that slides up and allows you to keep your hands/fingers away from the animal when its coming out of the cage.
