    Q
Is there a way to speed up the drying time of Eco PCO AR-X?
I'm using AR-X inside the house for spot treatment and I'm very pleased with the results; it's a great product I feel comfortable using around our children and cats. However, I noticed that the product takes a very long time to dry. I typically apply it in the evening once the kids are in bed and I'm rather sparing with the application since I only like to have as little insecticides inside the house as absolutely necessary. Anyway, the treated areas are usually still wet in the morning after 9-10 hrs of drying time. My question is, is this normal that AR-X takes such a long time to dry? And is there a way to speed up drying time? For a family with kids and pets it's virtually impossible to keep any area clear for 24 hrs or so.
    A
Eco PCO AR-X is an oil based product and that is why it takes so long to dry. The idea of oil based products is that they stay wet longer to offer longer lasting control. You should try to keep the product to just cracks and crevices to limit its exposure to children and pets. Unforatuntely there is not a way to speed up the drying time.

    Q
Which is better for killing house centipedes on contact? Cy-kick aerosol or Eco PCO aerosol? Which is safe to use around pets?
    A
Both, Eco PCO AR-X aerosol and Cy-Kick aerosol will offer a quick knockdown and a residual. Meaning it will kill quickly and once dry continue to kill for weeks. They are made by different manufacturers and contain different active ingredients. They will both treat centipedes as they are both labeled for that specific insect. Pets should be out of the area that is being treated and should not return until the appliction is dry.

    Q
Is Eco PCO AR-X Aerosol safe to spray on plants or foliage?
I have yellow jackets hovering on arborvitae and would like to give these bushes a good spraying!
    A

Eco PCO AR-X Aerosol is not labeled for use on ornamental plants or landscaping, only on listed exterior and interior surfaces. A small amount of overspray should not be harmful to ornamentals; however, because of the oils in this product, there could be some phytoxicity on desirable plants. We would suggest considering baiting or using a water-based insecticide such as Tempo SC Ultra for yellow jackets near ornamentals.
