Essential Minor Elements produced by Southern Ag is a great product that keeps your plants at their fullest potential. If left untreated, mineral deficency can make your plants turn yellow, stop growing and yield less vegetables and fruits. If you want to avoid this problem, the best product to use is Southern Ag's Essential Minor Elements. Essential Minor Elements is easy to use as well. No need to mixing and spraying a solution. Just use a broadcast spreader to cover the desired area and water the area and before you know it, your plants will be healthier.

Application Gardens - Preventative: 1/4 - 1/2 cup per 10 sq. ft. or 1 1/4 - 2 1/2 lbs. (2 1/2 - 5 cups) per 100 sq. ft.
Curative: 1 cup per 10 sq. ft. or 5 lbs. (10 cups) per 100 sq. ft.
Turf: 1 lb. (2 cups) per 100 sq. ft. or 10 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft.

Apply to garden areas or under branch spread to the drip line.

For preventative treatment, use 1/4 to 1/2 cup per 10 square feet or 1 1/4 to 2 1/2 lbs. per 100 square feet.

For curative treatment, use 1 cup per 10 sq. ft. or 5 lbs. (10 cups) per 100 sq. ft.


Mix thoroughly with soil at the rate of 1 - 2 Tablespoons per 12 Qt. bucket, or 2.5 - 5 lbs. (10 cups) per cubic yard.



Use 1/4 - 1/2 lb. (1/2 - 1 cups) per 100 sq. ft. or 2 - 5 lbs. per 1000 sq. ft.. Be sure foliage is dry before application, then wash off or water in as soon as possible to avoid injury. Sweep material off of all driveways, sidewalks, and masonry surfaces before applying water. Repeat application when needed.



Mix thoroughly with soil at the rate of 2 - 4 lbs. per cu. yard. Vary rates on the needs of the plant species. Larger containers 10-20 grams per surface square foot.

    The correct Product

    I was looking for the correct blend of fertilizer elements and this product had them for a fox tail palm that is struggling. I fertilized it about a month ago with the product and I have seen a positive improvement so "Do My Own" offers a wide enough products to help satisfy your needs.

    Essential Minor Elements

    Shipped in a very timely fashion. Very hard to find Essential Minor Elements available in most gardening centers. Avid gardeners such as myself, realize the importance of adding a little of this along with my fertilizer for optimum plant growth. So glad to find it here.

When using Essential Minor Elements in potted soil, you will mix thoroughly with soil at the rate of 1-2 tbsp. per 12 qt. bucket, or 2.5-5 lbs. (10 cups) per cubic yard.
