Shea from San Diego writes

Eucalyptus on 45deg slope

I have eucalyptus trees on a 45 degree slope. Will application as a drench work if the drench is broken-up into smaller batched to allow for absorption?

Answer:

We recommend drilling holes in the soil and do slow sprays/injection into the soil around the roots or pouring so slowly that you can watch the solution go into the soil and absorb before it rolls downhill, and then slowly pour more little bits at a time around the tree and roots so the solution goes down.
