Eugenia Hedge - Psyllid Control

I have a Eugenia hedge that is approximately 100 feet in length and comprised of 25 individual plants this has Psyllid infestation. Half of the hedge is approximately 16 feet tall and the other half about 8 feet tall. The average trunk diameter is about 7". I used to use Adonis 75 in the 2.25 oz packets and dissolve one is a 5 gallon bucket of water bucket and drench the roots of about 8 of the plants and it worked well. The Adonis 75 has been discontinued. What would be a good replacement and what would be the proper dosage?

Answer:

Dominion 2L would be a good choice for your application. It is labeled for psyllid control in hedges. You will use 0.1 to 0.2 fl. oz. (3 to 6 mL) per foot of shrub height.
