This ant bait does kill or reduce mounds quickly. Some bigger mounds may have to have a repeat application. DoMyOwn did a Great job of getting my order sent quickly to me. I would definitely buy from them again.

This product is great. The ants ate it all up and within 8 days they were dead. I dug the mounts up six inches below the surface and no signs of ants. I give this product 5 stars

We can't eliminate the fire ants from the planet but this stuff sure is effective on our property. Sure, from year to year, they return. But as a satisfied customer, I do too.

The product works very well but you will likely have to repeat treatment every 3-4 months based on my experience.

We moved to South Carolina from Pennsylvania 1 year ago so this is our first experience with fire ants. I always thought that they were really big. After working around the landscaping I soon found out they are tiny and have a big painful sting. We get mounds of colony's throughout the yard and landscaping. Our pest control people charge over $150.00 to treat the property, about 1/3 acre. I have used DO MY OWN back in Pennsylvania for bee and wasp control and loved how effective it was so I decided to try their product on the fire ants. I have been using the EXTINGUISH PLUS FIRE ANT BAIT now for a couple of weeks following the instructions and it works as advertised and for a lot less than professional exterminators.

I have been fighting fire ants for years with no success! I would get rid of a dozen mounds just for a few dozen to pop up. I finally got extinguish plus fire ant bait, and followed the instructions on this website. I waited till a warm day in the Spring, and put out a potato chip in the yard to see if the ants were forging-- They were. I then spread this poison across my 5 acre yard. I monitored the ants for the next couple of days. The same day I put the bait out, they were carrying it back to their beds. I went out the next day and poked some of the beds, sure and behold their tunnels were filled with the poison they collected. A few days after I noticed that there were many dead ants the mound had gathered outside of the bed as well as the bait that they realized was killing them. It was too late at that point. Every single mound was gone and then for the rest of the summer I didnt have any mound appear. Not till it was almost fall. I now got more and placed it out and once again, no ants. I will use this bait from now on!!

Ordered this product to get rid of lots of fire ants working behind our lanaii cage. Soon after applying, I noticed a quiet scene of no more ant activity. Thanks a lot. Mary Jo, Estero, Florida

The stuff is really fantastic! As long as the climate conditions are right; rising pressure, not too hot or too cold, usually best some day after a rain storm, they take it up and then it takes awhile, but works great. Thank you very much.

Get the buggers! We have maybe 4 acres of Bermuda around the house, while cutting the grass I dropped a little bit on each mound and stabbed the mound with a shovel making them all come. Went back and broadcast spread over. They are gone, and they were everywhere. There are a couple mounds in the Woodline that I originally missed that are still active but at least 40 mounds I hit are decimated! Genocide is my jam! Felt like Ender!

Worked just as advertised. I applied in early September after being sure the ants were foraging. (I placed a potato chip near a few ant piles and came back an hour later and the chips were covered with ants). I spread with a broadcast spreader at a very light setting and they were gone within a week. Also, it did not rain for several days after applying which I think gives the ants time to gather the bait. Highly recommend this product for ants in the Houston Texas area.

I have purchased Extinguish for over 5 years!!! This stuff works, period. Recently, I noticed a huge red ant colony by a fence post I was replacing. I got the Extinguish out and thought I would come back the next day to dig. Within 1 1/2 hours I started digging and the colony was gone!!!! If you have fire ants on your property USE EXTINGUISH....PERIOD!!!

A very effective Fire Ant Bait. I treated 10 acres with 25 lbs. of this Bait on March 1st. It is critical in the delivery of this product that it is broadcast as indicated on the label. I used an electric vibrating / spinning wheel broadcast system mounted on a 3pt. hitch on my tractor. It is virtually impossible to see the chemical that is broadcast onto the ground because of the dispersion rate. What is important is that it is broadcast everywhere so as the worker/forager ants bring the bait home to the colony and queen. I will be using the next 25 lb. bag for the second treatment June1st. To do this correctly is paramount in killing these guys. I have seen a huge decrease (80-90%) in the ant population in comparison to the previous Spring of 2022. Put this chemical down when you have at least 7-10 days of no rain in the forecast....Good luck with that here in central Alabama! (:

Used on half of yard in march. Used on other half in mid April. This is end of July and happy to say I have not seen any more fire ants since then. Seems to be great product. No more wasting powder from big box store chasing them around every couple days.

I've just used it in areas that I see activity of these Asian Needle Ants. They immediately pick up the product and tote it away. They disappear within a day. I search the yard every other day and only apply product where I see activity and again they disappear by the next day.

Utilized the product to treat the entire yard & landscape beds of an in-town lot showing signs of Fire Ants. Lot size 80 ft x 80ft. have with grass the balance driveway and landscape beds covered in mulch. Had at least 12 mounds scattered throughout, all developing within t two-week period. Utilized the product and all 4.5#'s. My application was a concentration 4 times the table instructions, however I wanted to ensure results. One week later, rained once lightly, all fire ants gone. 3" x 6" diameter mounts were raked smooth throughout.

After buying($$$) and using several product purporting to kill fire ants(with little to very little success) I found Extinguish Plus and, voila, it really worked to annihilate an entire colony of fire ants. I was delighted. Each time I encountered another colony out came my Extinguish Plus. I will not use any other product

I have used Extinguish Plus for several years. It is easy to apply and is dependable for results. The only caution is to follow the instructions! Be sure the ants are feeding and no rain is forecast.

It is about the only product that really, really works! I spot treat mounds. And, when I come back later the work posse is out retrieving the bait. A week later, -0- more ants. I've tried everything, and I mean everything. This is the only product that I'll buy

This ant bait is a little pricey but works really well! You do not need much and it is safe for animals.

It’s the best fire ant product I’ve found. Spread this stuff around their mound, the next day very little of extinguish is visible and the mound is dead. They don’t reappear 10ft away like the other fire ant products.
