David from Spring, Texas writes

Fahrenhite and Barricade for Virginia Button Weed

I have heavy VBW on my St Augustine lawn. The above combo have been recommended. In what order should I apply the 2 products and how long before second appl of Fahrenhite? Barricade at what point?

Answer:

Fahrenheit Herbicide can be applied to established St. Augustine varieties as directed and will target Virginia Buttonweed that is actively growing but may require a second application 4-6 weeks later. Please refer to the product label for full application instructions. Barricade should be applied prior to weed germination. We recommend consulting with your county cooperative extension office Master Gardener for timing in your area.
