Western Montana Mice eat this bait and die
By Corgi on 08/06/2023
I have tried nearly every bait here on the Montana mouse problems. I live in the woods and the mice population will explode and they will invade the house, garage, utility room, and cars in the fall and spring. I have tried multiple baits here and came upon Fastrac as the only successful bait. I've listed the other baits trialed and none has anywhere near the palatability of the Fastrac purple bait. The next closest is First Strike and it is a very distant second place with about 10% the uptake of Fastrac. Had hopes for Final soft bait, but almost no update after 3 months so it was a bust for Final. Also do some research on the anti-coag baits before you buy. Some will require multiple feeds to kill mice and this will be a slow process even if the mice will eat the anti-coag bait. The second generation anti-coags are supposed to be one feed to kill but I have had minimal luck with them (First Strike and Final). Fastrac seems to be very fast at killing mice. I have tried: Final Soft bait - minimal nibbles (1 station of out 20) Contrac Blox - no nibbles, multi feed to kill. Ditrac Blox - no nibbles, multi feed to kill. JT Eaton Bait Block Rodenticide - no nibbles, takes multiple feeds to kill First Strike Soft Bait Rodenticide - does get some nibbles Fastrac - reliably consumed and one feed kill. Overwhelmingly preferred here by the mice in MT.

Fastrac soft bait
By Henry on 02/21/2024
I used this bait when working for a big brand pest company. Now I have my own business and am pleased to say this is my go to. Due to Californias registrations we are unable to use most common rodenticides. Fastrac is very attractive to both roof and Norway rats along with mice. The quick kill means less bait consumption per cridder so more dead rodents less bait used. I don’t recommend using this in residential settings with kids or pets due to the active being a neurotoxin with no antidote. Other than that I give this product 5 stars!
