    Q
Do flies die after entering the FBS-1 station, or do they leave and die?
Do the flies normally fly out of the FBS-1 Fly Bait Station to die after eating the bait or do they die on top of the bait making it necessary to clean them out to make room for more flies? If it is the latter, how hard is it to clean out the flies without disturbing the bait?
    A
Whether the flies leave the station to die or die inside all depends on what kind of bait you place inside it.  We recommend the Maxforce Granular Fly Bait which will kill a fly within 60 seconds of landing on it.  This means that some flies will die in the station on the bait and some will fly out before they die.  If you do have a lot of fly activity, then you would probably want to clean them out of the station every few days until activity was under control.  However it is very easy to clean the flies out if you have to do this.  The flies are much larger than the bait and will be sitting on top of it.  You can take a stick or a plastic knife and just push them out of the station onto the ground or in the trash.

    Q
Does the FBS-1 fly bait smell? What kind of odor is present?
    A
The FBS-1 Fly Bait Stations do not come with a bait already in them.  You must purchase that separately. They are merely a secure station for holding any type of fly bait.  We do recommend using Maxforce granular fly bait which does not have a strong odor that you would notice.

    Q
How much bait will each bait station hold?
    A
How much bait the FBS station will hold will be slightly dependent on the bait that is used. Typically it will hold several ounces of bait at a time in the trays inside the unit.

    Q
Is this product attractive to birds, and are they able to access the bate in the stations?
    A
Unless you left the station open the birds would not be able to acces the bait inside. You did not specify which bait you are intending to use inside the station for us to accurately answer if a bird would be attracted to it or not. Some baits work more by sexual pheromone so it will vary in attractiveness to other insects or animals.
