    Is Fenvastar Plus effective on carpet beetles?
    Is Fenvastar Plus effective on carpet beetles even though it is not listed on the label? Fenvastar Eco has carpet bugs listed but I notice they have the same ingredients, just the plus has a higher amount of Esfenvalerate.

    While Fenvastar Plus will likely work for carpet beetles the product is not specifically labeled for carpet beetle control. Fenvastar EcoCap on the other hand has been tested for and is labeled for carpet beetle control.

    While Fenvastar Plus Esfenvalerate 8.4% is labeled for crickets, it is not labeled specifically for camel crickets. We would recommend Niban Granular Bait . This is the time of year that they are coming indoors looking for shelter as the weather starts to get cooler. They also love dampness and moisture. Outdoors these crickets hide in cluttered garages, near leaky gutters, underneath decks and in piles of leaves, Clearing away leaves under your desk and around your home, cleaning our your garage, ventilating crawl spaces, cutting back bushes, fixing leaky gutters and making sure your sprinkler is not hitting your house can deter camel crickets from nesting nearby, and ultimately invading your home.

    What is the best product to use for earwigs in CT? It seems everything is restricted here.

    Fenvastar would be a good choice for you. Fenvastar contains the active ingredient esfenvalerate, is a low odor pest control product and is labeled for all major pests including earwigs.  It can be applied using a hand pump sprayer into all cracks and crevices in woodwork and floors, underneath sinks, areas behind pipes, and in all places where these insects shelter. Fenvastar is safe to use in a home where cats live as long as you follow the product label. Keep cats out of the area while you are applying the product and they can return to the area as soon as it is dry.

    If you use FenvaStar Plus Esfenvalerate 8.4% with the ULV fogger, when is it safe to return to the home?

    FenvaStar Plus Esfenvalerate 8.4% can be applied in a ULV fogger. You should stay out of the area during dispersement and return only when the fogging is complete and the area has been properly ventilated for a half hour.

    How safe is FenvaStar Plus Esfenvalerate 8.4% for pets and farm animals?
    I need to treat near an area that has chickens, ducks, rabbits and also has dogs and a tortoise that have access to the area. Is this safe to use for them?
    A

    We recommend contacting your vet for specific advice on what is safe to spray an area where you have tortoises. We are not sure what would be toxic in the tortoise’s environment and we certainly do not want to recommend anything that could be dangerous.  For all other animals it is safe to use FenvaStar Plus Esfenvalerate 8.4% in areas they will be as long as they are kept out of the area during treatment until dry, typically 4-6 hours, and you do not apply where any animals graze.

    No, Fenvastar Plus Esfenvalerate is not labeled for use on any edibles. It is not labeled for squash vine borers.

    Where are bees on the label for FenvaStar Plus Esfenvalerate 8.4%?
    I use this at work for my company. It works amazing. The one question I have, is why are wasps, hornets, and yellow-jackets not on label?

    We are not sure of the exact reason why FenvaStar Plus Esfenvalerate 8.4% does not list bees, hornets and yellow jackets on the label as this information is not provided by the manufacturer.  It could be that it was not tested against these pests or that it was and was not found to be very effective against them.

    FenvaStar Plus Esfenvalerate 8.4% is not labeled for use in a fogger.  It can be used in a hand pump or backpack sprayer only.  You can find our selection of fogging concentrates here.

    Orchard use and harvest interval
    Minnesota's extensions program lists Esfenvalerate as good product for home Orchard use. However I dont see information about using this product in that context. What is the time from the last spray till the fruit would be safe for consumption(Harvest interval)? Or is this product not intended for that use?

    We generally do not recommend using fenvastar Plus in Orchards. Please contact rockwell Labs 866-788-4101 to verify that you can or cannot use this product. You could also use something like Bonide Fruit Tree Spray that is intended for use on fruit tree.

    Staining potential on wood floor with FenvaStar Plus Esfenvalerate 8.4%?
    Wood floor. Nice wood floor. Great account but has weak entry points. Scorpions seen inside and she wants results. I.e scorpion dying if seen or at least a state of weakness. I have product but have not used it.

    FenvaStar Plus Esfenvalerate 8.4% should not stain surfaces that water itself does not stain. We do recommend testing it on a small inconspicuous area as some wood finishes can become cloudy with just water.  Though for scorpions you should be directing applications to along baseboards and in cracks and crevices where they may hide not across entire interior floor surfaces.
