Read Full Answer »Ferti-lome Blooming and Rooting Soluble Plant Food 9-58-8 lists instructions for potted and container plants, as well as outdoor plants on the product label. For soil application of potted or container plants, dissolve 1 tsp. in 1 gal. of water, applied with each watering until desired color and blooming is achieved, then every other watering to help maintain vigorous growth. For foliage feeding of potted or container plants, dissolve 1/4 tsp. in 1 qt. of water and spray foliage until thoroughly wet every 7 to 10 days, making sure the soil is most before doing so. We would recommend moving the plants outside to treat.
