    Q
Can I use Ferti-lome Fire Blight Spray on newly grafted apple scions?
Good morning. Is Fertilome recommended for use on apple scions which have just been grafted? Or is it only for use on established trees?
    A

Ferti-lome Fire Blight Spray states on the product label to make first spray at the start of blossoming period. Continue spray applications every 3 to 4 days during bloom time. Apply additional sprays every 5 to 7 days after blossom period when weather conditions favor spread of Fire Blight. Do not apply when fruit is visible.  The label does not mention anything about newly grafted trees but we would recommend reaching out the manufacturer directly to confirm if there is any issue, VPG can be reached at 888-583-5296
