    Q
Can Ferti-lome Liquid Systemic Fungicide II be used as a drench?
    A

Unfortunately, Fertilome Liquid Systemic Fungicide II is not labeled to be used as a systemic soil drench. If you are looking for a product to use that way we would recommend Monterey Agri-Fos Systemic Fungicide. This can be used as a soil drench at the base of the tree, foliar spray, by soil incorporation, through basal bark treatment, and as a bare root dip.

    Q
What safety precautions should I take when applying Ferti-lome Liquid Systemic Fungicide II to Dogwood Trees?
The First Aid warning is very scary, how should I protect myself when spraying a dogwood tree. When spraying branches you will get drop on your body. Is that harmful and need the poison center assistance, or since it's diluted with water it's not critical. Is the warning only applies when un-diluted Ferti-Loom contact with skin, eye, etc. Appreciate clarification.
    A

Ferti-lome Liquid Systemic Fungicide II is perfectly safe if used as directed. The First Aid Precautions are the same as with any chemical. You will want to wear Nitrile Chemical Resistant Gloves, long sleeves, pants and closed-toed shoes when applying. We also have our Basic Safety Kit that is an option.

    Q
How long should I wait to see the result of Ferti-lome Liquid Systemic Fungicide?
After a week of spraying the first application on dogwood tree, I see the leaves are very droopy and still have dark spots, fungus. Will the second application revitalizes the leaves/tree? If not, how many applications are required.
    A

How quickly you will see a tree recover after spraying a fungicide such as Ferti-Lome Liquid Systemic Fungicide II depends on several factors, including what disease you are treating and how healthy or damaged the tree is. If you are not sure exactly what is wrong with the tree, then we recommend consulting a Master Gardener or arborist in your area so they can assess the overall health of the tree and help you identify the issue. You can reapply this product at 14 to 28-day intervals.
