    According to the product label instructions: Apply 1 to 1-1/2 tablespoons per 6 bedding plants worked into the soil and the watered in.

    Does it have to be mixed into soil or can it be scattered and watered in. Will it damage foilage if done this way?

    Ferti-Lome Premium Bedding Plant Food 7-22-8 is scattered to the soil around tomatoes and vegetables and watered in. Here are the application amounts:

    Individual plants: 1-1/3 tablespoons into soil
    Established beds: 1 1/3 lbs. per 50 sq. ft.
    Established rows: 2/3 lb. per 20 ft. row
