As a fertilizer, this is good stuff, although pricey for only that. As a weed killer, well, it's a good fertilizer. The existing weeds are still thriving 3 weeks after application. It's too early to say anything about crabgrass prevention, but based on it's poor performance at killing weeds that are listed on the label, I'm not counting on much.

  Expert response:
It may be too late in the season for post-emergent control, even for weeds listed on the product label. Per the product label: "Apply when weeds are young and actively growing, preferably in the morning when dew is on the grass. If grass is not moist at time of application, sprinkle lightly with water to hold the material on the Broadleaf weeds."

I wasted my money when I bought this product. It has not kill even one weed in my lawn. I have not seen any improvement in my lawn, in fact my lawn has turn yellow in certain areas.
