With Fertilome F-Stop, you will use 4 lbs. per 1000 square feet. These applications can be made in the Spring and fall. For your Spring application, you will make applications every 28 days as a preventative. This can be started in early Spring. For your fall applications, you will make two applications beginning in August before the turfgrass goes dormant. These applications will be made 28 days apart. This product can be applied with a broadcast spreader.

    Q
Can Ferti-Lome F-Stop be used on Evergreen Shurbs and how many treatments are needed per year?
    A

Ferti-Lome F-Stop is not labeled to be used on shrubs, trees or ornamentals. It is only to be applied to lawns and turfgrass areas. Bonide INFUSE Lawn & Landscape Granules is a broad spectrum fungicide that can be used on evergreen trees and shrubs. This is applied at 3lbs per 1,000 sq ft using a broadcast spreader and needs to be watered in within 24 hrs of the application. Per the product label, do not apply more than 3lbs per 1,000 sq feet per application & 2lbs of product per 1,000 per season. You can do a repeat application no sooner that 14 days after the previous application and depending on the disease you are treating for it can be 21 days after.

    Q
Can the Fertilome F-STop be used as a systemic for trees with leaf spot?
Will tress take up the chemical and act as a systemic fungicide in lieu of spraying?
    A
Fertilome F-Spot is a systemic fungicide, but it is a granular formulation and is only labeled for use on lawns. Eagle 20EW is a systemic fungicide with the same active ingredient that is labeled for leaf spot on ornamental plants and trees. Refer to the product label for more specific listings of tested tolerable plants. You may also want to contact your local co-operative extension office for recommendations on what active ingredients work most effectively on the specific plants you are treating in your area.

    Q
Will Fertilome F-Stop work on leaf spot in cherry trees?
I want to use a product with Myclobutanil on my cherry tree. I am fine with not eating the cherries for a year or so. Will this product work for that purpose
    A
Fertilome F-stop would not work for your needs not only because it is not labeled for any edible areas but also because it is only designed to work on diseases on turf/lawns. The only liquid product we carry with the Myclobutanil in it would be the Eagle 20 EW. You can refer to the product label for usage instructions as we cannot direct you in the off label usage you intend to use it for.
