Given the fact that I have had the product down only a week it is hard to evaluate the effectiveness of the product, however to-date it appears to be effective as a preventive for fungus. I was a bit surprised by the lack of uniformity of the product. It did not appear consistent and well-refined. I would have given the product itself a higher rating however there was a glitch with delivery. I was sent twice as much product as I was required to apply. As a result I put both bags down as I have been coached by Do My Own: "when I get it put it down". I did so but later found that this particular product was different. That is there were TWO applications in one delivery and I was suppose to apply the two application which were to be delivered two weeks apart. I suspect someone figured at Do My Own they could save 50 cents by converting two deliveries into one and forgot the bond with the customer. After applying twice as much product as called for I was concerned about damage. I called Do My Owns customer service number and was very disappointed in the reaction. I think I spoke to a receptionist who put me on hold and relayed a message to me from someone who may or may not have had any idea as to the problem. Bad form. I followed that inquiry with a email and got a fast response giving me a bit of reassurance that with considerable watering I should not have a problem only a bit of yellowing. I also received an apology which I appreciated however no offer to send another bag to apply when it was appropriate to do so. I like the subscription service for this type of product but was very disappointed as to how this particular delivery was managed.

Not a Good Choice for the South

This product was not effective for my centipede lawn in zone 8. The only reason I tried it was because I read that it was good to switch up the product. Big mistake. I had excellent results with Heritage G Fungicide and should have stayed on path. I am back to where I was in the spring with fungus, red thread and yellowing. Just purchased a 30 lb bag of Her G fungicide/insecticide. As soon as the heavy rains subside I will apply and hope for recovery and back to my nice (as good as it can be) lawn.
