For tightening legs only: Cleanse affected area thoroughly. Apply Kool-Out Poultice (1/8 in. thick to 1/4 in. thick). Finally, cover with a thin layer of gauze or cheesecloth, or standing bandage. Remove bandage and poultice after 24 hours, rinse with cold water, repeat as needed.
For minor leg inflammation, swelling and heat: Cleanse affected area thoroughly. Apply Kool-Out Poultice (1/8 in. thick to 1/4 in. thick). Always cover with a sheet of cotton first, then cover with paper or desired wrap. Next, use cotton or a quilted wrap. Finally, cover with a standing bandage. Remove bandage and poultice after 24 hours, rinse with cold water, repeat as needed.
As a hoof packing for minor heat and inflammation: Clean underside of foot thoroughly. Apply a small handful of Kool-Out Poultice to underside of foot and cover with kraft paper.
