BE AWARE only works with certain FOGGING insecticides
By Tom on 07/08/2012
Don't buy this unless you are using only certain proprietary fogging insecticides. It does NOT work with common agents like pyrethin, permethrin, talstar etc. You are limited to agents such as the one marketed by th manufacturer or Black Flag, etc. But fogs like crazy with those agents.

Very effective and simple with some maintenance.
By Jason on 07/13/2014
I have been using this fogger with Pyrocide 300 for a several weeks. If you use the right cylinder, fogging agent and perform some basic maintenance you'll be good to go. My first mistake was using the lantern type propane cylinder which does NOT produce optimum heating and generates a flare. I have no idea why, but the longer torch cylinder generates a better burn. The difference is night and day. After about 10 uses, the nozzle became clogged. Just unscrew it and clean in paint thinner with pipe cleaner or wire. Supposedly you are supposed to flush after each use, but I can't find instructions for that.

FOG RX PROPANE INSECT FOGGER
By Anonymous on 07/23/2013
I like the fogger a lot. It works great. The first one I received did not work and I gave a bad review of the product. I received a call from a representative for DoMyOwnPestControl. They sent me a new fogger, no questions asked, and it has worked great. They told me they would be happy to help with any questions I might have about any pest problems that might come up. So if you need any help with pest control just them a call. You will not be disappointed.

bonida rx propane insect fogger
By Anonymous on 08/11/2013
I have an older model of this fogger which gets very hot but not fogging as good as it did. I new one I just got heats up but cools off when you start fogging. Have to stop and let it heat up again. I carry a propane torch to help keep the coils heated or I have to stop and let the unit heat up again. If you don't, it does not fog like it should and it just a waste of time and money

Good fogger
By Anonymous on 07/29/2013
Have used the Fogger RX with great effect. Makes consistent fog and has dispersed the insecticide evenly. The only note I feel should be added to the instructions is that mineral oil is recommended in solutions from concentrate. The positive in that is the customer service of Do My Own Pest Control was very helpful and passed those instructions when I called. I also asked about cleaning between uses and it was stated that it should be flushed. I have recommended this unit and DMOPC to friends and neighboring ranches.

Wholly Smoke!!
By Kb on 05/31/2017
So after reading all the reviews, gathering all the tips I could, and reading all the instructions with the device and fogging liquid, I fired this gentle beast up. With a little under a half of a reservoir of fogger, I totally fogged about an acre and haven't had so much fun since I got my first BB gun. Here are a couple of tips from me: 1. Alert your neighbors- on a windless evening, the fog wafts for many many yards. 2. When I pulled the trigger to "pump" I quickly found out that a barrage of maybe 5 or 6 pumps every 4 or 5 seconds REALLY drives the fog out of the nozzle- no drips, no flames, just a 5 or 6 foot blast of dense fog. 3. Check the wind and watch where the fog is drifting so you don't get painted into a pesticide fog corner. I love this thing, and you will too if you read the directions, use the correct long propane bottle and pump the trigger 5 or 6 times. I pumped clear water through the gun after I was finished to ensure a long lasting piece of gear.

FOGGING WITH FOG RX
By Rick on 08/06/2017
I have been using the home depot black flag fogger - they ran out of the juice so I ordered your set up - we live in a 25 year old mobile home in N.W. Florida - We have an acre with horses - The wife is very pleased with how well your fogger has knocked down the pests - The black flag fogger did not seem to handle the amount of flying pests that yours does - Your propane fogger is a lot easier to use than the black flag one - Being in my 70's your fogger is easier on my hand.

RX Propane Insect Fogger
By Jim on 08/24/2019
By far the best propane fogger I have owned. Other brands use cheap propane torch head that do not heat the coils. This one WORKS! Ignites first time every time. Heats coils to produce tons of fog. Easy to fill spray container and you can actually see the fitting to attach a propane tank without cross threading. Swarms of mosquitos this year. No Problem! Used six times so far. Great to be able to enjoy our back yard again. Highly recommend!

Only Worked the First Time
By Ray on 06/08/2023
The fogger only worked properly the very first time used. We have followed the instructions and used the recommended product. At first we were very optimistic but after a while, the fog decreased even though there was still plenty of product and propane left. The second and third time we tried, very little to no fog came out, I had to stop trying because the mosquitos would not let me continue! I do not know if the item I got especifically is deffective, but it just does not perform.
