Since new wood often has mold spores, I usually spray entire building after framed with Bora Care with Mold. My new projects has lots of spores on the wood and I want to kill it. What do you suggest I use? Thanks
The Boracare with MoldCare is the superior product of the two for several reasons. Boracare with Mold Care does not just sit on the surface of the wood or attack surface issues, it absorbs into the wood and becomes one with it to protect it from wood destroying insects, rot/fungus, and mold for the life of the wood. Mold specifically is a surface issue caused by excess moisture that needs to be corrected if you do not want the potential for more mold to return in the future. While the Bare Ground One Shot may be enough to do general prevention, its not labeled to be a curative product so it would not be the best thing for existing spores on the wood. You would want to use any standard wood cleaner for the mold spots, or even a pressure washer to clean the surface. Once dry you could apply a product like the Boracare with Mold Care for long term protection and control.
