The addition of a surfactant to sprays containing Fore 80WP Rainshield will improve initial spray deposits, fungicide redistribution and weatherability. Place Fore 80WP Rainshield into suspension prior to adding an adjuvant to the spray mixture. It appears an oil based surfactant would be recommended. Duo Stick is a good option.
Fore Rainshield 80 WP Specialty Fungicide is a high quality mancozeb contact fungicide.
Fore Rainshield 80 WP Specialty Fungicide is not labeled to be used on anything edible including grapes. Mancozeb Floweable with Zinc Concentrate would be a better option and contains the same active ingredient and lists grapes on the product label.
It is always possible that applying too much of a product such as Fore Rainshield 80 WP can cause unwanted stress or damage on turfgrass. If you can tell us more about exactly how much product was used, the target disease, and the other conditions of the turf, then we may be able to assist you better. Keep in mind, also, that fungicides are not going to correct damage that is already present until you have new growth, so if there was already a lot of damage in some areas, then that grass will not immediately recover.
Fore Rainshield 80 WP Specialty Fungicide is safe to use on ornamentals however the product label does not specifically list mandevillas also called rocktrumpet. Before applying, we would recommend contacting the manufacturer Dow Agro Sciences directly at 800-992-5994 for their confirmation or speaking with the Master Gardener at the County Extension Office for recommendations and timing.
