nice seller too . shipped quickly . the soil smells good and feels light/aerated . has dark color as well (which is a good sign) . 1.5 cubic ft is a fair amount for this price and is the best deal i could find for it . recommended brand .

Get what you pay for

If you are a gardener, you know your end result is based on the steps you take to get there. This potting soil is step one. It drains well, holds the nutrients, and promotes unrestrained root growth. Very few things on the market deliver such accurate claims.. bottom line, it works.

This is the best potting soil to grow healthy plants, get the most out of your vegetable crop and beautiful flowers. Easy to use. light and airy, great drainage, and no need for fertilizer to get plants started. Soil is filled with good nutrients.

The product was dry so I could carry it myself up the basement stairs, through the townhouse to the kitchen. I first used it in 2 food grade buckets for my potato project. I set it up on May 23rd. I did add some organic compost. My sprouts began to grow. On June 10th I added more soil as I was transplanting phase 3 of my garden. Watering this morning revealed more, big healthy looking leaves! Time for more! My squash & tomatoes from phase 2 look good. I cut & removed Comfrey (Symphytum officinale) from her pot and put her in a larger one, using Fox Farm soil on 6/10. She appears to be adjusting to the new soil. I look out on my potted garden and feel good...not only about the beauty but especially about the wonderful soil. I have used other brands. Fox Farm gives me a feeling of peace.
