    Q
Is Fusilade II Herbicide the best product available to selectively kill Bermuda grass growing in with tall fescue?
Every year I apply round up to spot in my tall fescue lawn to kill off the Bermuda grass, but since it's non selective it kills everything. I live in the transition zone, zone 6. Bermuda grass thrives in the heat of the summer, but the label says to avoid spraying at this time. It would be difficult to find where the Bermuda grass is growing mixed in with tall fescue in the early spring, so would it be best to apply to a tall fescue lawn in early fall, like Sept. or Oct.?
    A

Yes, Fusilade is a popular choice for this application. Per the product label, you can apply Fusilade II Herbicide in spring and fall during transition to control Bermudagrass in Fescue. You do not want to spray in the summer because the Fescue will be very sensitive during this time and is likely to be injured. Bermudagrass is very difficult to control selectively in other turfgrasses, so it can take many applications overall several seasons to accomplish this. Please refer to the product label for complete application instructions.

Will Fusilade II Herbicide kill poa labillardierei?
    A

Fusilade II Herbicide is not labeled to control poa labillardierei, or tussock grass, so we cannot recommend it for this application. Keep in mind that we can ship only within the US, so we recommend contacting your local Department of Agriculture for recommendations on how to control this grass in your country.

    Q
Can Fusilade II Herbicide be used to kill Bermuda grass in a Centipede lawn?
    A

Fusilade II Herbicide cannot be used on Centipede grass as it will kill the lawn, nor it is labeled to be used on home lawns. We apologize, but we actually do not carry a product that is labeled to remove Bermuda grass from Centipede. The only suggestion we can give is to kill the Bermuda with a glyphosate product and then re-seed the Centipede in those areas.

    Q
Can Fusilade II be used in Saint Auguistine grass?
I live in Central Florida as a point of reference. I have St. Augustine that is being invaded by Bermuda grass. Will Fusillade II work in a watered down state to kill the Bermuda and bring minimal harm to my St. Augustine. If so, when would be the optimum time to spray?
    A

No, Fusilade II Herbicide is not labeled to be used on St. Augustine grass. Unfortunately Bermuda grass is so closely related to St. Augustine grass that there is nothing that will remove Bermuda from St. Augustine and not hurt the St. Augustine as well.  In your situation it is recommended to spot treat the Bermuda with Round Up and kill it directly, and then replant St. Augustine in those areas
