    What is the width of the Garage Door Rodent Guard?
    Our seal is 1" wide and been chewed up to 4.5".Will there be enough to still attach securely?

    The Garage Door Rodent Guard measures 6 inches high and would cover the 4.5" opening that you have on your door. You would be able to seal it with the sealing tape that is provided with the guard. For additional information on installation, please review the video in the link below.

    Does the Garage Door Rodent Guard rust?
    A

    Per the manufacturer they have not experienced any rust on the Garage Door Rodent Guard. The Rodent Guard is made of the same metal and finish coatings as the rain gutters. They have not yet seen rust on either one. Works great and last a very long time.

    Does the Garage Door Rodent Guard work on roll up doors?
    A

    The Garage Door Rodent Guard attaches to the weather seal around the door and not the actual door, so if that seal is next to the roll up doors it should work fine.

    Can the Garage Door Rodent Guard be used on the bottom side frame of the front door of a house?

    The Garage Door Rodent Guard is a thin metal guard that is designed to slide onto existing door that have been damaged or that are likely to get damaged. It could potentially be used horizonally, but it would only fit if there were existing stripping for it to slide onto. You can view a video of how this product is installed here.
