What size hole goes thru gearbox on the Gear Box Assembly for Chapin 8620B Spreaders (6 - 4661)? Will a 5/8' axle fit this gearbox?

What is the diameter of the axle shaft sleave
I want to replace the Gear Box on my Rugid spreader and if its 3/4 in diameter it may work

The inside hole of the gearbox that the axle would go through has a diameter around .625 inches.

I'm looking for a gearbox assembly for a chapin 82080 and this is the closet I have found,is this the correct

Unfortunately since the Chapin 82080 Spreader was discontinued, the gearbox and parts for that unit were discontinued as well. We contacted Chapin and they stated they do not have any other gearboxes that are compatible with that model.
