We have a gravel/dirt backyard and we're trying to get rid of pre-existing goat weed/sand burrs. I just purchased a bag of hi yield and am ready to treat the years but we just planted a raised garden bed. I cleared out the entire area of the garden and laid cardboard first. My question is how far will this spread so I stay clear of the garden?
When using the Hi-Yield Weed and Grass Stopper with Dimension Herbicide in the lawn you'd want to keep the application outside of the root zone/dripline of any edible vegetation. Raised bed gardens usually have less risk since they are elevated, and if a barrier has been put in place like the cardboard you mentioned. If you want a buffer zone between the beds and where the product is applied, 1-2 feet is usually sufficient.
