    How often can i use Happy Jack Kennel Dip II on my dogs?
    Can it be used in the house and yard?
    A

    Happy Jack Kennel Dip II can be reapplied every 30 days. Per the label, it can also be used on dog premises: mix 1 to 2 parts concentrate in 80 parts water (8 oz in 2.5 to 5 gal or 1 pt in 5 to 10 gal or 48 mL to 96 ml in 1 gal). Thoroughly spray infested areas, pet beds, resting quarters, nearby cracks and crevices, along baseboards, moldings, windows, door frames and localized areas on floor and floor covering. Fresh bedding should be placed in animarls quarters following treatment.

    For outdoor premise spray: Mix 2 fl. oz. (60 mL) concentrate in 10.5 gal. water or 14 mL in 2.5 gal. water. Use enough finish spray to penetrate foliage, usually 50-100 gal. per acre (1-2 gal. per 1,000 sq. ft.). To prevent infestation of buildings, treat a band of vegetation 6-10 feet adjacent to the structure.

    If the itching issues came from the listed pests that Happy Jack Kennel Dip II will treat, then it may help to stop the itching.  If itching continues, contact your veterinarian .

    Should you rinse dogs after treating them with Happy Jack Kennel Dip II?
    A

    Per the Happy Jack Kennel Dip II label instructions: Mix 1 part concentrate in 256 parts water.  Spray, dip or pour diluted product on the dog until the dog’s hair and skin are thoroughly wet (saturated), making sure the dog’s entire body is treated.  Do not apply to the dog’s face.  Let drip dry on dog and do not rinse off.

    What will happen if my dog licks itself before Happy Jack Kennel Dip II is dry?

    Happy Jack Kennel Dip II can be harmful if enough is ingested by your dog.  A small lick would be fine but we would recommend keeping him from doing so until dry.

    Can I use Happy Jack Kennel Dip II on my goats?

    Happy Jack Kennel Dip II is not labeled for use on goats.  It is only for use on dogs.  Pyganic Specialty is labeled for use on goats for flea control.

    Bare skin patches and itching.

    How much Happy Jack Kennel Dip II is needed to mix in a 900 mL spray bottle?
    A

    The mixing rate of Happy Jack Kennel Dip II is 1/2 fl oz per gallon of water as a dip or sponge-on or 4 fl oz per gallon of water as a premise spray. Since 900 mL is only 0.24 gallons or about 30 oz, then you would only use 0.12 oz (under 4 mL) in 900 mL of water for a dip or 0.96 oz (29 mL) per 900 mL of water for a premise spray.

    Does happy jack cure red mange
    My Australian Shepherd is four months old. He has red mange. Will happy jack work on this mange?

    This product does not work for demodex mange which is common in sick or immune compromised animals and very hard to control. We recommend that you consult a local vet for recommendations and/or treatment.

    How long Happy Jack Kennel Dip II take to treat mange?
    A

    The amount of time it takes to treat mange with Happy Jack Kennel Dip II will vary depending on multiple factors, including the extent of mange that your dog is currently suffering from. The product label instructions state to retreat dogs as needed, but not more than once every two weeks / 14 days.

    Will adding a small amount of Happy Jack Kennel Dip II to a vinegar bath cancel the eradicating properties of either in killing mites on my dog?
    A

    Happy Jack Kennel Dip II should be used by itself when bathing for mange mites, it is not labeled to be mixed with vinegar or with any other home remedy. This product kills on contact and also continues working for up to 30 days.
