I have a 25 gallon sprayer tank. How much Grazon should I use in order to kill thistle and blackberry?

Answer:

The rate at which you apply GrazonNext HL Herbicide will depend on the specific type of thistle you are treating. If you are treating yellow starthistle, bull thistle, musk thistle, or plumeless thistle, then you can use 1.2 - 1.5 pints per Acre, which would be 0.44 - 0.5 oz per 1,000 square feet. For sowthistle, prickly sowthistle, Canada thistle, or scotch thistle, you would use 1.5 - 2.1 pints per Acre(this is the same for blackberry), or 0.5 - 0.78 oz per 1000 sq ft. For spot treating with a 1-2 gallon sprayer, you would use the 1,000 sq ft rate in 1 gallon of water. For larger areas, the exact amount of water needed with depend upon your spray equipment and at what speed the product is applied. Please refer to the product label for complete application instructions.
