I have an attic that is accessible. My rafters are 2x8 and my stud wall are 2x6.

Only 1 to 2 inches of wood is exposed due to existing open cell spray foam insulation. Will BoraCare permeate through the insulation to protect all sides for the wood, or should I not be concerned.i don’t want to remove the insulation prior to treatment

Answer:

The insulation should be removed so that the Bora-Care can be applied directly to the wood. It is safe to place it back once the surfaces treated are completely dry.
