Tom from Allen, Texas writes

I have a new house which has a 'drip' pipe next to the foundation. Can I pump Termidor in a drip pipe to treat the house?

I have a new house in North Texas. We often put drip lines next to the foundation at about 6-inch depth to prevent cracks in the house from drying and wet periods. I'd like to add Termidor to a high-pressure system ( I already have) and pump in this drip line next to the foundation. Is this doable? Also, can Termidor be used via injection to prevent Pine Tip Moths?

Answer:

No, Termidor SC cannot be applied through a drip pipe. For termite preventative/control treatments, you would need to trench treat. Please read the product label for complete application instructions. For pine tip moths, you can use Permethrin SFR or Talstar P, which is labeled for tip moths as well. Please read product labels for complete application instructions.
