I still see some termites coming through cracks in the bathroom and hallway upstairs. What do I do?
Subterranean termite colonies can take up to 90 days to completely eliminate after a proper trench treatment has been made around the home foundation. If a termite treatment was made just recently with Termidor SC, you will need to give more time for the solution to make its way through the colony. You can also use Termidor Foam or the Termidor SC to spot treat in wall voids and door frames where active termites are found within the home if needed to speed up the transfer process of the chemical through the colony from another direction than just the soil. Keep in mind that in Florida and coastal regions, you experience both Drywood\Termites and Subterranean Termites. A trench treatment will not prevent drywood termites so proper exclusion and care of the external home surfaces, and using general insecticide sprays around potential entry points during spring and summer swarming seasons of drywood termites will help prevent them from gaining access to the structure as easily.
