I have used Harris Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth as an insecticide round my stove is the powder harmful?

The smell seems to last a long time what should I do?

Harris Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth is a food grade product & not intended for pest control. We would recommend removing the product such as via sweeping or vacuum and clean surfaces with hot soapy water.
