Hay treated with GrazonNext HL Herbicide and the manure from goats that have eaten the hay is damaging my home garden. How can I remove it? .

I don't know where to get hay for my goats that is not sprayed with Grazon. This stuff is awful for home gardeners. How can I remove it? My plants are all shriveling up. Please help.

Answer:

Unfortunately, we would not be able to advise on any reversal or recourse with hay already treated with GrazonNext HL Herbicide.  The manufacturer does advise/discuss prevention measures to prevent injury to desirable plants on page 1 of the product label stating“ Manure and urine from animals consuming grass or hay treated with this product may contain enough aminopyralid to cause injury to sensitive broadleaf plants.”  Please contact the manufacturer, Dow AgroSciences for information and remedital treatment adivse at 317-337-3000.
