Customer Reviews for Headway G Fungicide Granules

Since this product mixes both azoxystrobin and propiconizole, I figured I could get away with just using this over and over again without building up immune strains of fungus. So far it seems to be working (three years or so). I haven't been getting any dead patches, and even early in the morning I see very little of the cobwebby stuff that the lawn fungi cause. I don't even put it down as often as you're supposed to, but it works. It's not a huge cost advantage over buying the products separately at the store, but it's more convenient since you don't have to mix them, and I'd expect it works better than alternating treatments.

Have fought fungus in my yard for the last few summers! Tried Headway and had excellent results!! Did two applications and the results have been great.

Applied in late July after brown patch already had a good hold on lawn.........saw some improvement after 2 weeks, but not drasticly better..........getting ready to do 2nd application this weekend and then some Daconil if needed. Would I buy again, so far, yes. We'll see after 2nd application.

I would say this product is doing its job. There are still some dead zones....but honestly we waited far too long to apply a treatment to correct the problem, so the way our lawn looks before the application of this product is totally on us. Don't wait. If you see brown patches that are growing....get this product right away and begin applications. I will be far more in tune with our grass issues from this point forward. The Headway works far better the DiseaseX that can be purchased at HomeDepot. Our grass is actually greening up....however, it does have a long way to go. We also applied seed to the really dead locations. Slowly....areas are filling in and the lawn is perking up. Definitely worth the purchase for fescue disease and fungus's

This stuff WORKS! Used it once and so far the fungus has not returned. But I will keep my eye on it because it only lasts a month or so. Good proce and fast shipping!

I have yet to use the product purchased, but I did have a product question where I needed help from customer service. The lady I spoke with was very knowledgeable and helpful. The product shipped on time and arrived as ordered. I will definitely use DoMyOwn again.

My lawn had patchy brown spots from fungus. Lawn began to recover a week after applying Headway G. Now for a couple preventative applications the next couple months to keep it away.

The product worked great on multiple lawn fungus issues that i was having in my bermudagrass. Worked quickly and my lawn is in much better shape now. Domyown.com was very helpful in answering questions that I had prior to purchase.

I did a spot application in the Spring every two weeks for six weeks, then once a month for two months and one more time in the Fall. This year, no brown spot. But I have half a bag left in case it does come back. A cheap solution. Over-the-counter products were a waste of money.

I've got a mystery fungus that even our university extension center can't idendify other than to say, "Looks like brown patch." Neither Scott's not Bayer fungicide will touch it, but this stuff controls it all summer with an application every few weeks. Expensive, but it does the trick!

I purchased this when it was on sale. I ought switch between the types of fungicide. When we get a lot of rain after I fertilizer I have to put this down to keep fungus at bay. So far great. I normally use Heritage brand which both ingredients are the same.

Good results! Don’t know what makes this product different, but it seems to work better than applying its two active ingredients separately. Have used on 3 different lawns this season. One with zero to little fungus damage and two with moderate brown patch damage. Clean lawn still looking good. Brown patch lawns show significant improvement and no further spread. Definitely will use next season as well

I have had really bad take all root rot in my saint augustine grass for a number of years. various fungicides that I applied proved ineffective. I then signed up with a professional lawn care company and they helped some but not enough. I try to keep up with new or better fungicides for take all and found a study/trial that showed that Headway G gave very good results. My lawn company said they did not have this new product so I ordered the 30 pound bag, my lawn service company applied it for me and within 3 weeks the improvement is spectacular. I will order another 30lbs and have my service apply 28 days after 1st application

We have been struggling to control several different fungi in our lawn. We had been doing it by the book. Rotating products based on different FRAC groups so we didn't develop fungicide resistance. Individual products/fungicides did ok but never let us get ahead, probably because no one product was good for all the various fungi. Headway G at the curative (double) rate cured the lawn. Aside from the double application rate, it is also a double whammy for fungus because it includes 2 different FRAC group fungicides. While I am sure the earlier applications of other products helped, the difference from Headway G is striking. Now that the disease is cured, we will apply it next year at the preventive rate. I wish we knew about Headway G sooner. Probably would have saved us lost of money on the numerous applications of individual fungicides every 2 weeks. Thank you DoMyOwn for making this product available. It is definitely not available from the big box stores around us.

Headway G is an amazing product. My neighbors are asking about the Brown Patch that used to cover my lawn each summer. The problem has not appeared this year. Applying Headway G every 3 weeks from late May to early September has been a game-changer. Btw, DoMyOwn.com is very dependable and charges reasonable prices.

Had case of gray spot on my st augistene, palmetto grass, cut and bagged, applied headway , watered in lightly, new growth had no gray spot, all good for now, treated entire lawn.

I discovered Headway G on You Tube while desperately searching for a solution to clear up the brown patch fungus in my backyard. I followed the directions to a T and the fungus started clearing up within 1 week following application.

So far so good..G Fungicide granules have improved my lawn..had a stretch of 2 weeks of constant rain which resulted in fungus in my lawn..granules cleared up yellow fungus and halted the brown patch from spreading..waiting for new grass to claim areas of brown patch which it appears to be biginning..my lawn looks great..getting lots of compliments from my neighbors..

My heavily shaded red creeping/tttf lawn always dies out/goes dormant in the hot summer months with heavy canopy. To much heat? To much shade? Nope, terrible brown patch. Headway g to the rescue. It's starting to turn around, and it's never looked this good in July, ever.

I have used this product twice and seems like it does as advertised! I had a fungal outbreak back in June this year and cured it up within weeks!

Product rep (At Syngenta) very helpful. I appreciated the time he spent with me answering my questions. My yard has considerable fungus where I've had to replace several sections. Several "in the know" have recommended HEADWAY G to fight this fungus. I'm using this product o help prevent the spread - so far I haven't seen any improvement. Not sure how long this takes before I'll see slowing of the fungus and more green in the yard. I'm hopeful that it will be soon! Some of my neighbors are also using this product.

So happy we found domyown.com! Shipping is lightening fast and product descriptions, instructions and reviews are helpful. We spent years unsuccessfully battling lawn fungus using big box products on our residential lawn here in humid southwest Michigan. Yes, these granules are expensive, but they work! We apply no more than every 30 days and alternate this product with Cleary's 3336 DG Lite granules.
