Per the manufacturer, you could not use the Hide Beetle Kit to eliminate any ongoing infestation. They are designed only as a monitor for beetle activity. Since the lures are used in sticky traps, they would not work well in agricultural settings with a lot of dust.
The Hide Beetle Kit contains the pheromones necessary to lure hide beetles out of their hiding places and help you get rid of them. The Hide Beetle Kit is only labeled for hide beetles specifically therefore it will not work on larder beetles.
Tempo Ultra WSP Insecticide is labeled to eradicate larder beetles. You will mix one packet per 5 gallons of water for application and apply to cracks and crevices.
